I am probably soon going to put a Newer card in my 2400. While it is apart, I'm also going to put in a larger hard drive. Will the powerbook boot off a system without the nupower extension? I don't have the floppy mod. Should I prepare an external scsi drive with the proper extension, or perhaps make a bootable CD? Am I putting too much thought into this and missing something? All the other G3 upgrades that I've done retain the stock processor and just boot the normal cpu, where as the 2400 motherboard is removed and replaced. hmmmmmm.
