Removing the top cover is the hardest thing about the Duo (next to putting the
screen back together) There is 4 latches on the front between the trackball
button and the right side.
I found it to be easier if you remove the 2 screen hinge cover off both side
and you should be able to get the back part of the cover lifted with minimal
trouble. Then you need to slide the whole cover toward the front (toward you)
You might need a small flat screwdriver to snap the latches off. THere is a
risk of cosmetic damage to the front if you do this though.
You don't need to do anything to the 2 screws that holds the feet in place,
they are mounted to the bottom of the case.
