Peter:
Sorry we didn't help you. I did not see your original message, and I know
that it is too late, but... keep trying when you need help. This list is
usually very responsive. Keep in mind that many of the members are on
digest mode, and may not answer immediately.
I just added a HD to my Duodock last night, using the connector (which I
lengthened) from a dead Quadra 700, and the drive bracket from an old LC.
Works great. Be sure to put a jumper on the first set of SCSI ID pins on
the drive you are installing or you will have an ID conflict between the
drive in the dock and the drive in your Duo. If you need the service manual
for the DuoDock, I can email it to you. Just let me know.
