>Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!

Oh, the irony of this post :) I guess it's because it's Monday, but
I'm just not laughing out loud about this.

I know the web creates an atmosphere of superiority and anonymity,
but I'm a little offended by this reply. I'm sure some of it was
tongue-in-cheek, and I'm just an overly-sensitive fool, but
suggesting that the original poster be either shot or booted from the
list, let alone cussed at is not really helping. Maybe they didn't
realize that the posts were there. Maybe they are clueless. But
they are relying on our professionalism to help them.

Peter -- here are a couple of suggestions: if your email program
supports "filing" your incoming messages by sender or content into
different folders or directories, try learning how to use such
folders or rules. Then, you'll have just one folder to search for
all similar messages and keep them organized. So, when you are
searching for replies to your post (which may or may not have the
same subject line, you have to read them all sometimes) -- you'll
find what you need. A lot of people put a lot of time into answering
questions and trying to help each other here, so this is where some
of the above frustration comes from. Usually, you aren't attacked
for posting a "dumb" follow-up like this beyond what Mark posted.
And even dumb questions won't get you "booted" from the list --we
hope you stay to learn more about your Duo.

This list is beginning to take a decidely negative tone --- or is it just me?
