Back in late May, I ordered one of the G3 upgrade cards from David Wegener ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) of Wegener Media. I placed my order within 30 minutes of Ralph Mawyer, Jr's post to the DuoList about it. I ordered and made payment on May 25. In his e-mail, he said it would ship early next week. (May 28-29th) but he didn't get it shipped until June 1st, and I didn't recive it until June 6th. This was a bad thing, cause at 4am the next day, I was going to be on my way to Japan. Those that have worked on a 2400 know, trying to install a G3 card, with the chance of breaking your 2400 before you go on a 2 week trip overseas is a *bad* thing. So I waited until I got back to install the G3 upgrade. On a side note, the card only has the original 250mHz G3 chip. No big deal because these were advertised as 240Mhz card. But, the one I got onyt has 512kb of cache (it is identical the the G3 card I have already) but the 366mHz chip underclocked to 240mHz and copper would save battery and keep the temp down, and that would be nice. It wad dead. After installing it my 2400 would go into GLOD that coudn't be cleared. When back to my original card, and it worked fine. Tried the G3 card again, same problem. When back to my original card. The card was DOA, and David Wegener said he would replace a card if it was DOA. I e-mailed him telling him what happend and that I would like a new card, or a refund if they were all gone. I have gotten no reply to the three times I have e-mailed him, and he is ignoring my e-mails. I attempted to call, but I got no answer. I know he is arround and using that e-mail address, because he uses it on eBay to also condut his auctions from, and he is continuing to do so (and even leaving feed back) so I _KNOW_ he is there. This is very frustrating. Did anyone else on the list have problems dealing with David Wegener. What should I do??? P.S.
