The Cheetah is probably the least suitable drive for the 6100 as they
run quite hot and the 6100 has very poor ventilation, also the psu may
not be up to driving a 10,000 rpm drive, providing you have the Id and
termination correct then the power supply is the most probable cause,
you would be best off getting a good external case with adequate
cooling to put the drive in, this would also cure any power problem.
