I have a G3 that I've been using since Jan. 1999. I very rarely use it on battery power, and it usually stays charged in full while I run it on ac power. The battery is good for around 2 1/2 hours of use. Sometimes I restart the computer and open applications while using the battery. Also, I keep virtual memory on at all times, which cuts down on battery time. Does keeping a battery fully charged this way add to the life of the battery?
