digging a little deeper, it may be someone hijacked the server for 
SPAM -- maybe the owners of purpleturtle are having a bad sendmail 
day.  then again, it may be a normal account being abused.  I let 
them know they have an issue.

And the digest does display the email addresses, but I'd be surprised 
to learn this is how my address got mined.  Then again, I just added 
several OS X lists to my account -- and once again it is probably 
coincidental that colorful terrapins plague me now.
