Hi y'all. It's me again: battery stop charging, so I replaced the surface mount fuse on the board near the battery. At any rate, it's blown again. The good news is that because of my unorthodox approach, replacing it is very easy now, only about 10 minutes, including disassembly time. The bad news is, of course, it's still a blown fuse with no known cause. This time it happens as I unplug orplug in the power supply. Mine is a Madsonline replacement, and the shield casing has came off. Mike Madsonline has assured me when it happened a year ago that this is only a shield, so it shouldn't be a serious issue, but I can't help but thinking that there is something about the plug or the jack that's causing the problem. In a day or two,I'll do a deep disassembly and check this out, but certainly can use any guesses you folks have to offer. Tho ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
