That's what I ended up doing.  The adapter was only a couple of bucks 
more than the Zio and offered a bit faster functionality with fewer 
connections/parts...and the ability to directly boot the 2400 is 
great.  I have no other USB machines at the moment either.

Agreed, and ordered with that in mind.  Plus 128MB cards are in a bit 
of short supply...relative to the 64's.
