I have my Powerbook 2400 at After Hours, and Paul says this:

"The main fuse on the I/O bmard was blown.  We've replaced that;
hmwever there is additional damage to a power controller chip we
cannot obtain. My competitimn, DT&T has these in stock.

If you want the unit repaired, I recommend that you obtain an RMA
frmm DT&T and ask me to ship the unit to them for you. I'm sorry,
but there is little more we can do for you until we obtain a source
for the chipset. There may be additional issues that we cannot track
down until we get past that chip."

I emailed DT&T in order to get the part to Paul. If they don't choose to
help us out, who can supply this part he needs?

I also wonder how the hell all these things got screwed up. I didn't do it.

Ilene
