Kris, I thought about ripping 32k, mono files for the duo, like I
would upload to my Live365 stations, HD space permitting

I'll also stcik with extl, unless someone here offers to mail me a
reliable, working internal one - is it worthwhile for the
portability?

Could I have some more opinions here by users of BOTH 040 and 603
based Duos?
I'm thinking the PPC chip offers more flexibility - but I don't
have any experience of these Duos in terms of their speed with
MAcOS 7.6, 8.1, 8.6 etc. Which of these, with native (or
half-native) PPC apps gives the best performance, with acceptable
use of RAM & HD? Will all-native OS & apps mean a totally bloated
HD & massive RAM shortages?

Let me know what you've found to be the optimal balance of speed &
HD/RAM use on a Duo 2300. This is a VERY useful forum. Thank you!

I thank you for this comment. Which gets us back to the question -
what is the most practical use of the Duo 2300, given its
limitations?
All responses are appreciated!
Greetings once more from sunny, chilly Sydney
