List readers, Have you successfully upgraded to a larger HD for your Duo 2300? (a new HD or *one from an iBook*). Are additional brackets, hole drilling or other modifications required? I think the iBook drives are slimmer (ie less height) than the original Duo 2300 drives. Performance boost? In normal use, does the newer drive make any practical difference in speed, such as less latency or waiting for drive response, or in faster running when using virtual memory? I have access to a 3G iBook HD and hope for a speed boost (if one exists). I have only 20Mb RAM (!) & thus cannot use RAM disks Any comments appreciated!
