Kris:

I'm a hewby on the DList and want to provide a little background. I had a
230 that I purchased new and it served me well for a 4 years as a
management consultant and trainer who lives on the west coast and worked in
Boston. I loved it and then gave it to my son who lives in Mostar, Bosnia.
He outgrew it and returned it damaged. I still have it and someday I'll
repair it.

Recently I purchased a 2300 and a Duo Dock II from ebay and I'm very
pleased to have a little Duo to cart around again because when I need a
computer, I want to have one to use.

My son and his wife gave birth in June. Emily weighed in at 6' 13 1/2" and
she's doing fine. We are leaving for Bosnia October 2 to visit them. Packed
away with me will be that little Duo, which ain't worth much, of course!
It's been far too long since I packed one on a trip. This one will serve me
for years to come.

I had to comment, because I could not pass up your statement about the
author on the "lowendmac.com" article. Suppose he was on some new marketing
drug? Great parting shot!
