I've been researching this to try to find the exact limits for each version of MacOS. Previous to 7.5 the limit is 2GB-1MB and with 7.5 it is 4GB-1MB. Staring with 7.5.2, the limit has been raised to 2 Terrabytes on "some computers." Those computers include "any system which shipped with 7.5.2 or newer, and any system with a PCI bus." It's clear that you can use a partition size of 4GB-1MB, but I'm not sure if you can go larger on a 2300. Anyone tried it? HFS or HFS+?
