The fastest QFP 603 I have seen is a 117 MHz (they are easy to find,
get the low end PB1400 CPU module). The faster ones are BGA (I HATE
BGA ! NO way to remove or add BGA).
Do you know what CPUs came in what package ?
Its pretty bad if you cant get CPUs when you work at the
manufacturer. Can you get ANY CPUs from them ?
Say, by any chance do you know if the 68040 came in a QFP package option ?
