You know, I have a spare 10.4" LCD. I got it in a box of random parts It may or may not work. I believe its the screen from a 2300. I can give you dimnensions, part numbers etc if you;re interested, but it might fix the bacjklight problem.... I'd be wanting about $10 for it plus shipping, as is. I suspect that it is an 8bit 10.4" 800x600 LCD Details available. Peace Aqua
