It is most likely a loose/damaged connector for the HD. All you'll need to
do is get a T8 sized Torx wrench. These can be hard to find, but I made a
nifty discovery last night. WalMart is selling a "Precision Tool Kit" for $2
that has both a T8 wrench, and a phillips that looks small enough to get
those teeny screws that hold the screen to the plastic. I think it also has
a T6 wrench, which might be right for the smaller Torx screws in the screen
bezel and elsewhere, but I haven't really tried.

>From there, you can first just try pulling the three back screws out and
pulling the keyboard off (carefully). Make sure the HD connector is still
firmly seated. It will be the somewhat wide one on the far right. If it is,
unplug/replug it a few times and see if that doesn't do it.

If that still doesn't do it, pull out the remaining screw and carefully take
the top bezel off. Be especially careful of the power button, it's fragile
and sticks out. You can check the cable at the HD from there, though you'll
probably have to take out a couple more screws. If that doesn't do it yet,
then you likely have a bad cable, or a dying drive. I'd lean more towards
the cable since a HD generally either works or doesn't work.

Anyway, hope this helps :0
