Well, the battery in my 2400 ran down to pretty much no charge. I 
plugged in the AC adapter immediately and have been letting it 
charge, but the red X didn't change to lightning bolt after it was 
plugged it in. I put in another battery I thought was charged (it 
wasn't) and still the red X, no indication it's charging. All seemed 
well before the first battery ran down.  I changed adapters and 
plugged in a Madsonline. It boots no problem with each but still the 
red X. And It boots normally with each adapter with the battery out. 
All speculation welcomed, thanks in advance!
