All right folks--there's still life left in these 2400s.
I have some staff who will be operating in rural areas (halfway around the world) implementing a complicated project on fast track. Some of the project documentation will have to be delivered by digital photos of site work, along with emails, preferably from the field whenever urgent. They can/will be using several 2400s because email can be sent/received via GSM phones over the IrDA port (along with PCMCIA, unavailable on iB2)--and these computers are still light. However, I would like to use Internet telephony and videoconferencing as well (not via GSM)--rudimentary color or even B/W can be considered depending on frame rates/bandwidth requirements. Anyone have suggestions, preferences, experiences in videoconferencing with or without 2400s? I love to hear some feedback on hardware/software.
