Heh, well, I drive a Trans Am with the WS6 performance suspension package,
and I haven't done anything myself to the suspension, or the engine or
transmission mounts, so I don't suspect I'll have to worry about losing
anything important ;) In fact, I hope to combine Applescript, Speakable
Items and SoundApp PPC to make a nifty voice-activated mp3 player in there.
I was originally trying to use a Powermac 6214 I got for free (and am
probably going to sell), but found that once the mp3 was playing it was
bogged down to the point that it no longer had the power to process voice
commands :) Once I get my Starmax 4000 working, I'm going to choose between
the 6500/225 (603e 225mhz) and the Starmax (200mhz 604e) to use for it.
Should be cool once I get it going :) And it will fit right into the theme
since I'm working on building KITT from Knight Rider :) Only thing is right
now I'm planning on using the Victoria (High Quality) voice since it's one
of the most understandable (and the car's name really is Rebekah anyway).
>From what I can tell, Applescript can do it all with SoundApp, just a matter
of getting it all written and set up. I'm not much of a programmer, only a
bit of C++ and Visual Basic (*ducks*), but I'm enjoying it so far.

Okay, so it's sorta off topic. To get back on-topic, anyone know any way to
get 44k stereo sound out of a 2300c without a full-sized dock? It would be
even nicer to have a Powerbook-sized controller instead of a 6500-sized
controller :)
