Actually, Sidney, you are showing how long you've been out of country :) I've had to deal with these court reporter programs, and they are a total nightmare. It would have seemed to be easy to use another text editor... until you discover the neolithic standards the courts demand of their output, with no deviation from the standards. It's darn near scary. I did some transfer work for a customer who finally gave up and bought a PC for her dictation needs. It sucked, but sucked less than the IT people who forced these programs on her. I suspect Ralph faces the same nightmare. Maybe we can figure out a solution, but the courts have to modernize at some point.
