Ok i finally got off my butt and started working on my Duo mods that I had planned for almost half a year. Using this web site for a reference http://members.home.net/gionpeters/Duo.html I finished the ADB mod without any smoke or blown mobo. ;) The next round would be to add the hard drive light and I'll probably have the HD activiy light in the screen area where the sleep light is currently and move the sleep light to the top (back) of the screen. I mean you'd have to look straight in to see it lit up when in sleep mode with the lid closed and I thought that was a bad design.
I'm also looking into that trick about using a Duo Dock while using the Duo's screen. I have the file on that Duo connector and it's got over 150 pins to check out. PS anyone want these 2 spare modems: Apple 14.4K and GV 19.2K modems? No software will be included but I believe mose OSes will support 14.4K and you can still get the 2.5.5 updater for the 19.2K (use Tome Viewer to manually extract and install the required files) ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
