Hello Everyone, I am having problems hooking up via a globall village Modem ethernet card to my budy's G3 powerbook (Pismo) At first it conected and ran a few files over the ethernet then as we transfered a huge file the system wen't down on both powerbooks. I have never experienced this kind of thing. There seems to be some kind of problem with the connection as we have restarted and re-attempted to conect the two computers again, they both froze up again. I can't seem to figure out why. We are both runing HFS+ formated hard drives . The Pismo runs 9.1,the 2400 runs 8.1 file sharing is on (of course). But the file sharing can no longer be turned on (2400) . A dialogue box comes up telling me that it cannot be turned on. Has anyone experienced this kind of problem before , and how was it resolved.
I welcome any suggestions Cheers Carlos ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
