I was able to- just barely - play Lord of the Realms II on my 6500/225. It's
noticeably better on my Starmax 4000 (604e 200mhz model), but even my
Pentium 100 I have set up next to my Mac blows it away and plays it
perfectly.

Actually, now that I think about it, LotR2 only uses DirectDraw, not
Direct3D. I'd not want to see a Direct3D game on VPC on the systems I have.
Maybe a nice G3 :)

If you're running a new enough DirectX, you can load up dxdiag.exe and run
some of the Direct3D tests which should give you a decent idea of how it
will run.
