I haven't checked the minimal install option on the OS 7.6.1 disk, 
but that might be one option.

The other is the system folder found on diagnostic CDs like Norton, 
TechTool, etc....or better yet the older floppy disk versions.  That 
will get you started, but won't offer much else.

Let us know what you come up with.
