I have always been annoyed by the fact that my Duo 2300c and the E-Machines Etherdock could not "see" my other Macs or my Windoze box on the home ethernet/PC MacLan network. I could surf the net and send/receive e-mail over the lan but could not exchange files among my 2300c and my other Macs.
Well, today I installed the EtherTech ethernet driver from my previous NewerTech MicroDock and voila, now the E-Machines Etherdock can communicate across the network just like it should have been doing all along. Strangely enough, though, my Duo with the EtherDock still cannot print to my LaserWriter IIg. Still can't see the printer. Is anyone else aware of this peculiar phenomenon? Anyway, if you need the driver, e-mail me and I'll get it out to you. Happy Holidays to all! ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
