this'd be the griffin stealth port and the like?

my question is two-fold: are these modem-slot serial port adapters
supported under X, and will one work in the modem slot on my beige?

I don't think any of the USB-serial adapters ever made
supported LocalTalk, although I have a vague
recollection that something did. I suspect that was
one of the serial adapters that plugged into the modem
slot of the early iMacs, B&W G3, or Yikes-- since
those appear to the OS as a built-in serial port once
the vendor's extension is loaded.
