I had posted this list to several 'Listers... some interest but nothing serious on the off-List enquiries, so it goes on-List. If anyone has a problem with this, please let me know and I'll pull it ASAP. Don't like annoying fellow Mac'ers! Anyway...I'm getting out of the tinkering end of things and have a bunch of parts I'd like to sell.....prefer as one lot of parts. If this does not go as a lot, then I'll break it up....when I can get the time (a week or so from now). Here goes! The list is: (Drum roll..........) PB180C that boots but no display. The color display seems fine, these units were known to have the daughtercard go out on occasion. No floppy, small HD, unknown amount of RAM. Does have a modem installed. Great to use as a parts machine ....plastic is quite good. Always had intentions of finding another one and merging the two.....sigh. Duo 2300 case..lower plastics w/mag stiffner/frame inside. No trackpad. Decent plastic...couple of broken clips in front of HD. Duo 280c case....lower plastics w/mag stiffner/frame inside. Good trackball. Decent plastic...broken clips in front of HD. Duo 2300 bottom only....very good shape, ALL good clips in front of HD (these tend to break easily...hard to find a good lower w/o broken clips...ask Mad Dog). 2 x Duo 2300 display plastics, both in very good shape with unbroken lower supports (where the screws hold the display halves together...main failure point) and good clutches. 1 has the RF shield (white metallic shield around display) still installed. 1 Duo 280 display plastic, good shape except for the lower supports....both failed. Good clutches. All 3 units have good release latches, by the way. 2 Keyboards, one Rev. AB, one Rev AE. Unknown condix. Also have a bag full of keys off of a Rev. E kbd that was sacrificed for a project. 2 RAM Boards, one 8 meg, one unknown. Both were in working machines, should be good. 2 failed Duo 2300 screens (broken), both with good backlights and electronics. These are the Toshiba displays, if you are trying to repair a failed (electronically) display. 1 bag misc. plastic (feet, clutch covers, centre cover, screws, etc.) Includes 2 blank cards w/on/off sw.(for the duo sans modem), great for the ADB conversion. 2 rear plastics w/doors (came off the 2300 lowers listed above). SCSI HD, IBM, Type 0664, 1 or Two Gig?, never tried it, friend gave it to me, said it was a new drive they bought in '94, never installed it in their system...it is taking up space on my shelf! (3.5", not a 2.5" drive..good for a Dock, tho) 6100 logic board...presumed dead. Superdrive (like what is in a Dock)..it is good (my backup floppy). RAM Card for a 5300...think it is either 8 or 16 megs. Sold the 5300 years ago. Modem for a Performa PPC computer (CommSlot2 card)...33.6 or 56K..think it is for a 63XX or 664XX machine. There are some other bits and pieces that will be included, such as RAM for older Macs (bunch of 30 pin SIMMS), several adapters of misc sorts (VGA to mac), etc. I also just found a rare 1/3 height Toshiba CD drive like the one I had mounted in my Dock...the drive is in perfect shape....I had bought two, used the one, stuck this one in a box. It is included...it is just the bare drive, but works great. I'd like $100 for all...and I'll ship it my cost USPS so no "freight charges." (CONUS only, natch..if someone in AU wants it, we'll have to work out shipping). Andy ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
