Donald,
I believe that it is one of the leftovers from a bulk buy after Newer
went out of business. The same guy offered some to the list a while back
for $120 or $130 dollars I ordered one and it never did work. I
installed it several times trying different things to get it to work and
only got a blown I/O board for my trouble. I wrote him several times and
never got a reply. There were several others who also got burned on the
list. I see he is saying in the ad that he doesn't know whether they
work or not (probably not), so buy at your own risk. He never returned
any of my e-mails about the problem.
I ended up giving mine away to someone on the list for the repair of
my original G3 and blown I/O board. He had the knowledge to fix it
himself. I hope he was successful.
