Most likely a dead CPU card. I've seen quite a few 2400s seem like they had
a dead I/O board but the problem turned out to be a dead CPU card plus a
serious PM reset (after installation) if the Pram battery is weak. See if
you can beg, borrow or steal a CPU card (if you're up for installing it
yourself) before shipping it off.
