As for new batts, I still recommend rebuilding.  Cheaper, and you don't have 
to worry about "how long has that battery been on the shelf?"  Anyone seen a 
Duo batt newer than around a 1996 production date??  If not, then the newest 
batt out there is ***six*** years old!
