How I've decided to solve the problem: I already used two control strip modules called BunchOApps and Process Manager. I just decided when wanting to unstuff Stuffit files, I first go to BunchOApps and launch Stuffit expander. This then causes the stuffit expander icon to appear on the Process Manager control strip module. From there, I just click on the Finder window/desktop where the stuffit files are and drag to that icon in the Process Manager. It's simple. No desktop space lost. No extra icons on the desktop needed. Really quick especially because launching Stuffit Expander doesn't open any windows.
Of course, I think would be best would be having an actual stuffit expander module on the control strip for even quicker access. But then again that would take up space on the control strip. I did try some people's suggestions and did think were good too. Thanks to everyone. I was able to get some good stuff/information in the process.
