That's all the Duo PPC upgrade from Apple ever was - the nether regions of
a 2300. The 2300 is uniquely able to talk to any previous Duo kit -
displays, hard drives, trackballs, etc.

On a vaguely related note:

>eMachines PowerLink Presenter (has abd, floppy,
>monitor, and composit video, stere outputs
>and power in) $50 (pics available) does NOT
>work with 2300 or PPC upgraded Duos

I never had a problem using either of my Presentor docks with a PPC Duo.
It's possible that you might need the updated version of the Presentor
utility to change the video mode (v1.02 I think), though I really don't
know that. You don't need any of the other e-machines control panels and
such to use the dock in any way, they're mere bloat. Btw it's not a stereo
audio output, any more than any other Duo dock - the Duo docking connector
(foolishly) doesn't have separate stereo audio channels.
