[off topic] - friend's PB G3 problem
Morning Listas. Wondering if the friend of this 2400er might benefit from the friendliest place on the net, vicariously. Been trying to sort out an unusual problem on his machine that's now got me stumped. ...we're talking power supplies, batteries, and suspicious activity. The story so far... (PB G3, by the way) plugged into wall + battery in... works fine. plugged into wall - battery... works fine. unplugged + battery... freezes within a very short time. unplugged + another's battery... freezes within a very short time. unplugged + 2 batteries... freezes within a very short time. Both batteries themselves test out fine, for what it's worth. Any ideas? Should I suspect power management? Marc ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
