Thanks everyone for the advice. I got the 2400 with a lot of other stuff, so I am not into it deep, so I'll go ahead and get it all together, if it works well I'll keep it, but I can get my bucks out if necessary. I bought a big HD and enough RAM to fill it, but I'm going to let MCE put it all together.
My daughter just bought a new 14" iBook, and it is really sweet. When she upgrades in a few years I'll likely end up with that machine! Meanwhile, I like the idea of a big screen book for use while sitting in my lazy boy (while watching TV!), but a smaller one (the 2400c) for note taking and writing away from my favorite chair. I could live without the 7300 in my office, but it is cheap and it serves all sorts of useful functions. Thanks again. dave in idaho ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
