All, This has been sitting in my Drafts folder for some time, waiting for my PB 2400 to come back. But it may be time to stop leaving the light on for it. Grrr...
I sent DT&T my totally upgraded 2400 in November for repair. They told me it needed a I/O board and I said OK do it. So it was fixed and sent it back. Or that's what they'd like me to believe. Haven't seen it since. They were to send it via U.S. Mail, so I allowed a reasonable amount of time before asking them what the devil was happening. About the 3rd week of December I asked what was happening and they said ' we sent it UPS by mistake'. Maybe lots of people don't know United Parcel only ships to street addresses. But surely UPS and the shipper should. I don't even know why UPS accepted it. Anyway, they told me UPS had returned it the prior week and they'd be mailing it to me that week. I emailed them in mid January and they said they sent it out. I've called them and left a message but they haven't gotten back to me. So, if you're there dropping something off, it might be a good idea to wait for it instead. And if you see a 2400 with a blue Yu-Plan keyboard on the bench, please drop me a line...thanks -- rs ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
