Rob, The 2300c will do that when you have "thousands of colors" chosen. Go down to your control strip and change the color setting to 256. You can also open your "Monitors and Sound" control panel (under the apple menu-control panels) to do the same thing. That should do the trick. J. Morton Carmel CA
