Sidney, Sidney, Sidney.....never use cynoacrilate glues for such bonding. Use a product such as LocTite (the red stuff you will see on screws on occasion) to keep a screw from backing out. In a pinch, nail polish (Brandy, here's a chance for a good shot!) will hold the screw, but LocTite on the threads is the best solution. "Just a dab will do ya" on the threads, screw it and that screw will NOT be going anywhere. Easily removable in the future, too. Most autoparts stores worldwide (OK, in Dushanbe it might be tough to find some) carry it. Get the non-permanent flavor (there is a product which is supposed to be for non-removable fasteners). A tube will last for many rebuilds. And Paul, hang in here with us if possible....you're an asset we'd hate to lose. I'm not on the list that much, but do peruse the interesting threads whilst deleting the hundred or so junk/nonapplicable emails I get each day per address. Cheers!
