I'd probably pick up two, one for each of my 2400's (the active
mobile one, and the spare one)

After working on building my own hacked G3/G4 upgrade for my 2400 out
of a GLODed NewerTech card, and failing miserably ... many times ...
with a puff of foul smelling smoke (and once a small fire) I've just
about given up. So I hope Sonnet can be caonvinced to make some 2400
upgrade cards.

I'd pay around $500 to $600 to see ANY new copper-G3 upgrade for the
2400c. My aluminium 240mHz guzzles the juice on battery even with
cache off.

It would also be realy nice if it could be easily overclocked (via
DIP switches) for those brave enough to. I currently get a nice
boost by upping my bus speed to 50mHz and only increasing the CPU to
250mHz from the standard 240mHz.

Didn't some company buy the rights to NewrTech CPU upgrade designs
after they folded? I think it was Sonnet, but I'm not sure.

I can give a firm order for two of the cards if give enough notice to
get the cash. So cout me in, for two!

Now, If only we can get BTI to make some 2400 batteries ...........
