Am I missing something? Do you guys ever bring your 2400's on the road? What do you do for batteries? That's why I bought a iceBook: I could not get batteries for the 2400. The performance of the stock 180 MHz CPU was never a hindrance and I did not mind the 80 meg RAM limit either. But I DO mind not being able to compute coast to coast on a pair of batteries.
