Sydney Ho deserves the Nobel for his work on the PB 2400! One of my 2400's went south due to a bad internal drive, but would function from an external drive through the PC slot.
I replaced the internal drive and everything was fine for about 48 hours when the 2400 would not wake from sleep. It still would function from the PC slot provided I disconnect the internal drive which was still good as attested to by running it from MCE 's data shuttle through the PC slot. I sent the 2400 to MCE and Duke diagnosed a bad motherboard. DT&T sent me a motherboard and I installed only to have everything running fine again for 48 hours and then same symptoms upon an attempted wake up. I am now back to using the old motherboard and just using the PC slot and an external hard drive. Dallas ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
