Sure. It'll run Open Transport 1.1.2 fine (install 1.1.1 first them 1.1.2) and OT/PPP. That's all you need and you're online :) With the CFM-68k Enabler you can even run the last 68k Netscape (4.0.8) even though it says it needs 7.6.1. With some work and adding stuff, there's not a lot that won't run on 7.1. I run just about everything you could think of, OT, Appearance stuff, etc etc and it still only takes 4-5 megs of RAM (out of 32). Sure beats the 7-10 that 8.1 took, and tons faster too even with the Appearance Ext. I've done some resedit hacks to copy the icons from 8.1 to 7.1 so you can hardly even tell it's not 8.1 ;) >This is why i'm inviting this discussion. Well, the 280c is far from speedy itself, but it's quite usable. As for the HD, just about any SCSI 2.5" drive should work. I have 1 gigger in mine, I haven't really seen any much bigger for SCSI that aren't insanely expensive. Good luck! These are great little machines, even though I sometimes find the lack of a floppy drive annoying, I still love mine :) I recently picked up a Localtalk-Ethernet converter which has helped a lot. >Thanks - Stone Scott Holder ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
