Hi all,

I have a Duo 280 12/120 and Dock for sale, I'm offering this item here so
someone who will actually use and care for the machine will get it. Price
is unimportant, I just want to find someone who will get some use out of
this Mac!

I bought the machine for writing a few months back, then promptly got an
iBook and neglected the Duo. It has System 7.5 installed along with some
software (Clarisworks 2, Word 6, Excel 5, etc.) from the previous owner. It
includes a Rev E keyboard which feels a little uneven to me, I can throw in
another Rev E keyboard but they both seem the same to me (maybe adjusting
screws would help?). The machine includes a working power adapter and a
nonworking (totally dead, doesn't even boot) Type III battery. The machine
is in relatively good used shape, a few pixels on the screen look strange
but I'm not sure if they're totally dead or what the deal is, otherwise the
screen is nice and bright! The PRAM battery seems dead. I can take and
email photos of the machine if needed.

I also have a big Dock for the machine, I believe it's a Dock II but am not
real familiar with these things. I can provide details if interested. It's
the big huge one with ridges on the top, a floppy drive, network port, etc.
(I don't think it has anything extra internally) It's in EXCELLENT shape
and allowed me to attach the Duo to my corporate network.

I'm hoping for $100 plus shipping from 97214 for the whole package, or you
can pick it up if you live near Portland, Oregon. If this price is high
just let me know, I'm negotiable. Also, I apologize if this is the wrong
list to post this message on!

Any takers?
