My Wallstreet has expansion bay floppy capabilities and 2 Type II PCMCIA slots, and I actually need to use that floppy drive from time to time. BTW the Wallstreet's internal modem tends to overheat to the point that connections are suddenly dropped, and I never use it. PC card modems heat up too much as well. I use Diamond Supra external serial modems plugged in here and there around my home/office (no such thing as cable modems around here, and I'm thousands of feet too far from being able to use DSL either), or occasionally my Airport (but MacCIM 2.44 can't use it, and CSV is still where most of my commercial emails are exchanged).
