That assumes you need the CD-ROM. I could use a monster Dell Inspiron with a floppy. CDROM, battery AND an extra expansion bay for CDRW, DVD, extra battery etc. It also has 14" screen, PS2, USB, RS232 serial (thats three ways to use a mouse), parallel, dock port, three different sound out ports...
