I have messed with adress book conversions a little. I
have found that importing into Excel as an
intermediate step allows you to make sure all your
fields are lined up just right. Often a tab or comma
delimited file gets thrown off by one goofy record,
and then nothing lines up right. Putting it in Excel
with headings and then making sure everything is clean
will ensure that when you dump it into your new file,
all the fields go to the right place. You may also
want to rename some of your field headers to fit the
new database.
