There is an outside chance that I may be in the UK sometime soon(ish) on business... with hopefully several days added on to visit old haunts and friends. I have no idea when (or even *if*) this will happen, as it is contingent on factors beyond my control. I would also be in London and the west country... In other words Nowhere Near Newkie. I am probably one of the folks on the list best qualified to do the job for you... I just have no idea what sort of timeframe I can promise. Could be in two weeks, could be two months. Sorry. I always travel with my set of screwdrivers, as I never know when I'll need to perform repairs on my own 2400c. I'd also be more than willing to 'talk' you, or anyone for that matter, through the procedure, either over the phone or some kind of online chat. Just let me know. --chuck goolsbee geek wrangler, digital.forest inc, bothell, wa <http://www.forest.net> list mom, mac-mgrs mailing list... <http://www.mac-mgrs.org> ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
