I agree with Scott Illustrator 7.1 is great . It has almost
become the standard in Graphic design. I am using
Illustrator 9.0 , and quite often I am asked to change
my file to 7.1 .
I actually like to use 9.0 to do technical illustrations.
but I am using a G3 and a G4 . My understanding is that
7.1 is the limit for a quadra as far as useful improvement
versus , processor capability. Anything higher in release
will probably only slow down in your quadra.
Besides, the improvements from ill. 7 aren't necessary
for most users.

My $0.02

Cheers
Carlos
