This same thing has happened to me sa well.  I tried the FBI and got
nowhere, so I filed with the PostMaster General.  What the gentleman did
was commit postal fraud.  I used a money order, so I couldn't get a
credit.  1 week after calling the Postmaster general I a)got a check in
the mail refunding my money order, b) got a conformation email and letter
from postmaster general's office about the outcome and c) got an email
from ebay that they seller had been permantley suspended.  You have one
year to file with them, so I would ASAP.  Costs nothing.
